We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join a global leader in the consumer services industry.
In this role, you will be an integral member of the Singapore Finance team, closely collaborating with the business to make sound decisions. Your responsibilities will encompass managing the full sets of accounting (AP, AR, GL & Reporting) and overseeing the daily financial operations of the Singapore office, including bookkeeping, accounting, and reconciliation. You will also play a crucial role in the monthly and annual financial reporting, analysis, and related duties.
Your duties will include maintaining company ledgers and handling daily financial transactions, processing payments, managing credit control and collections, preparing monthly financial statements, annual closing, financial analysis, reporting, GST filing, cash flow management, and ensuring compliance with Finance processes and SOPs.
In addition to your core responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ad-hoc financial projects and implementations as needed. This role will also involve collaboration with colleagues from various countries and functions on financial reporting and forecasting initiatives, providing valuable opportunities for professional growth.
To be successful in this position, you should be a professionally qualified accountant with at least 6 years of experience gained with multinational organizations. A Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate qualification in Finance or a related specialization, complemented by professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA, is essential. Solid experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, forecasting, cost accounting, and budgeting is highly valued. Furthermore, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team payer, effective time management, and strong interpersonal skills are key traits we are seeking.
