Benefits Summary:
- Basic up to $8000 + AWS + VB
- Monday – Friday, 8am – 5.30pm
- Location: West Region
The Product Manager is responsible for design, development, implementation, and analysis of products. Performs routine engineering design tasks using standard techniques. Fair knowledge of cable and components applications.
Responsibilities:
- Planning and evaluating new projects, consulting with other engineers and management as necessary.
- Review new product plans and make recommendations for material selection, based on design objectives such as strength, weight, heat resistance, electrical conductivity, and cost.
- Work with account managers, sales, production and engineers to establish cost estimates and production standards.
- Identifies process bottlenecks and devises solutions to resolve.
- Prepare technical drawings to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements. Where applicable.
- Optimizes productivity in both the engineering and production areas by designing, implementing and testing new procedures.
- Contributes to the teams’ efforts by successfully completing related tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Analytical skills for troubleshooting designs that are not working as planned and finding answers that work by asking the right questions and testing options.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively explain details of the process and findings to groups of all skillsets.
- Interpersonal skills to develop strong and positive working relationships with the engineering team and all employees in the production process.
- Strong technical knowledge and critical thinking
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Electrical or Electronics preferred.
- 5 years of engineering experience preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) systems
