Job Responsibilities:
Performs activities related to Equipment procurement, outsourcing, and vendor selection. Typically performs one or more of the following in capacity of either an individual contributor (as directed and/or independently), or as a manager:
- Performs activities related to the sourcing of equipment and services, including spare parts, strategic repairs and parts cleaning services.
- Create and drive global strategy for commodity area, act as team lead for commodity to drive regional teams to achieve cost savings & ensure supply continuity goals.
- Coordinate purchasing activities with the engineering and manufacturing departments to maintain inventories at planned levels.
- Manages RFx process & negotiation with supplier base.
- Reviews purchase requests for completeness and compliance with company requirements;
- Approves purchases of authorized amounts or size.
- Maintains and updates purchasing orders, systems, and documentation. Monitors the cost, schedule and performance metrics of contracts and subcontracts.
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

- Utilizes leadership and negotiation skills to influence outcomes with internal stakeholders and/or external customers and suppliers.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Has broad expertise & knowledge of Semiconductor parts, OEM, and Non OEM equipment suppliers.
- Has extensive knowledge and experience with strategic sourcing & procurement processes.
- Uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles.
- Barriers to entry, such as VP level review, exist at this level. Not all job families will have positions at this level.
- Applies advanced leadership and project management skills to lead projects and to guide more junior level colleagues cross functionally.
- Applies a deep understanding of company strategy and financial/business needs into own work environment.
- Applies appropriate language skills based on the job environment covering.
