What you will be doing
- Design and implement standard build, deployment, and configuration management across product suite adhering to principles of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
- Enforce standards on application security by implementing vulnerability scanning tools.
- Prepare and execute load testing scripts for analysis and measurement of performance.
- Enforce source code management including standard branching approaches and release versioning.
- Build and implement automation tools for infrastructure virtualization and provisioning.
- Provide technical guidance and educate team members on development and operations.
- Document, maintain and design various processes.
- Make recommendations to improve development tools, technology stack for application performance and stability based on industry best practices.
- Maintain day-to-day management and administration of environments such as application deployment and availability.
- Assist in performing root cause analysis of production errors.
What you will need
- Minimum 8 years practical experience in Core and Enterprise Java.
- Experienced in web application development using JavaScript and related frameworks (Angular).
- Experienced with various Spring modules like MVC, Security, and Batch.
- Experienced using and developing RESTful APIs using JAX-RS, JSON.
- Experienced in RDBMS, SQL, JPA, and Hibernate.
- Has a firm grasp of software engineering practices with focus on web technologies and platforms.
- Has a firm grasp of Agile methodologies
- Solid hands-on knowledge and experience on the following tools:
- Source code management like Git
- Build management, automation server, with plugins built for developing CI/ CD pipelines like Jenkins
- Automation testing frameworks like Selenium Webdriver
- Software Containerization Platform like Docker
- Configuration Management and Deployment like Puppet, Chef and Ansible
- Knowledge on the following is an added advantage :
- Load testing tool like JMeter
- Cloud platform like AWS, Azure, GCP
- Software Container Orchestration like Kubernetes
