The Strategy Team is a data-driven team with good experience in operations and interest in market insights. The team enjoys solving tough, complex business and operational problems and coming up with long-term strategies for the business
The team focuses on a variety of “missions” from planning, setting up new businesses, and end-to-end project management and execution of company initiatives
Get to know the role
Planning: Co-develop the overall strategy for the company and be part of the end-to-end problem-solving process; this includes the following: translate and localize regional mandate for the Philippine context, develop frameworks and structures to help solve business issues, make recommendations based on data and analysis, create execution plans
New Business: Develop new businesses from market opportunities, managing the process end to end – market research, business planning, and set-up of new business
Work on a broad set of projects ranging from new product launches to the implementation of org-wide engagement activities
Project Management: Work on a broad set of projects ranging from new business, organization design implementation, operational improvement initiatives. Drive and program manage cross-functional projects that serve stakeholders across departments and verticals
Business Partnership: Serve as thought partner for the business teams
The Day-to-Day Activities
Collaboration and communication with stakeholders across all levels of the business to implement recommendations
Evaluation of opportunities and issues; development of potential action plans
Analysis of operational and market data to derive insights and recommendations
Problem-solving sessions where people debate and discuss how they are thinking about the problem at hand
Project management and tracking to achieve set goals
The Must-Haves

Hungry and driven to seek out opportunities to learn, develop and grow both technical and soft skills in finance, business strategy, operations, and entrepreneurship
Solid quantitative and analytics skills, ability to work well with ambiguity, and strong execution focus
Enjoy being out of your comfort zone and diving into rapidly changing business and highly technical environments
Clear written and oral communication and thought process
Able to make concise and impactful reports or slides as necessary
Proven experience in leading working and influencing teams whether directly and indirectly
Practical business sense and a passion for trying different things; willingness to learn and do things out of comfort zone
Real-world experience in ideating and implementing initiatives that have directly contributed to an organization’s key objectives and goals
Strong entrepreneurial drive is a plus
What will make you stand out:
Management consulting, investment banking, business partnering, transport planning or similar corporate experience
Project management experience
Familiarity with SQL and other analytical tools
